who we are...
Real Life is the youth ministry of Glad Tidings Church in West Lawn, Pennsylvania. We are passionate about helping students discover life with God, grow in their faith, define their purpose, and change their world.
Real Life is made up of students with seemingly nothing in common. Our religious backgrounds are different. Our family portraits are different. Our styles of clothing and music are different. Our financial status is different. Our schools are different. Our political views are different. Yet we all have one thing in common: we're on a search to understand who God is, and who we were made to be.
Real Life is a safe place to ask your questions and share your doubts. No one will judge you for it. It's in the process of wrestling through questions and doubts that we truly find God, so you never have to feel guilty or embarrassed or stupid. Keep asking. Keep searching.
You're welcome to share your thoughts and questions right here on this blog by leaving a comment or you can email us:

We have found our God-given purpose in life. It's you.
As the varsity student ministries pastor, I get to partner with people who share my passion to be a part of the spiritual journeys of our students, to share life with them, to watch them discover their purpose... it's beautiful and inspiring and exciting.
I have a supportive, loving, and tight-knit family who means the world to me. Each one has molded and inspired me:
I love to travel the world. Outside of the U.S., I've been to Canada, Jamaica, England, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, and Amsterdam.
I believe because we are incredibly blessed we have a responsibility to bring hope and help to those who are in need. That was the life and heart and command of Jesus. James 1:27 says, "Real religion, the kind that passes muster before God the Father, is this: Reach out to the homeless and loveless in their plight, and guard against corruption from the godless world."
